Switchgear Services was formed in 1985 and operates from 2 modern
factories totalling approximately 8500 sq ft at Honiton, Devon.
The factory comprises of Copper and Steel fabrication facilities,
an epoxy powder spray plant and a switchboard assembly and test area.
Our fabrication workshop utilises modern manufacturing techniques
including CNC punching.
We specialise in
the manufacture of L.V. distribution switchboards incorporating air
circuit breakers, moulded case circuit breakers, fuse switches &
associated control systems. We also manufacture Motor Control Centres, and
offer a range of site services.
To ensure that
we offer high quality reliable systems, we fabricate, paint, assemble and
wire all our equipment in house.
In addition to
our own switchboard designs we are a manufacturing licensee for Tyco
Electronics (Dorman Smith) Modis 12 & 25 & 32, as well as
Schneider Prisma Modular switchboards
Since 1985 we
have manufactured switchgear for many commercial, residential,
industrial, educational and public projects in the U.K, working with
leading consultants, contractors and end users.
